I’m Mairi, a photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland, specialising in couples sessions, portraits, fashion, and weddings.
My photography style is dreamy, romantic, and cinematic. I blend soft, natural light with rich, moody tones to capture timeless and intimate moments. Every frame is designed to look like a scene from a romantic film. I prioritise creating a calm, comfortable experience for my clients, allowing genuine moments and natural chemistry to unfold in front of the camera.
I’ve photographed a wide range of clients, from Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols and the BBC to public figures, artists and couples from around the world.

"Mairi was absolutely fantastic to work with. During the ceremony, we barely noticed she was there, yet she managed to capture some really beautiful moments.
What we loved most was her creative and non-traditional approach to wedding portraits. We weren't big fans of formal or overly posed wedding photos, and Mairi's style was exactly what we were looking for. Her photos feel natural, spontaneous and full of personality.
My partner and I don’t always feel comfortable having our pictures takes, especially in public places, but Mairi immediately put us at ease. She made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun and the photos feel genuinely like us. Nothing feels forced or awkward.
